The album was originally slated for a December 9 release but according to the rapper, some 'technical difficulties' caused the delay.
The 32-year-old star though did not announce any date of the release, Wayne hinted at his impatient fans that he would be out of the mess sooner than expected, reported Aceshowbiz.
"I was supposed to drop my new album December 9, but due to technical difficulties I'm caught in a bad situation," he told the crowd while taking the stage at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York.
The announcement comes days after Wayne blasted the label on Twitter on Thursday.
"To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released because Baby & Cash Money Record refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.
