The hip-hop superstar's Tha Carter V: Part One will be out on December 9, and he also released the new track 'Gotti', reported Digital Spy.
Tha Carter V had been expected to be released in late October, but delays forced Lil Wayne to back off that date.
Lil Wayne explained in a separate Carter V: PSA video that he simply had too much material to meet an October deadline.
"I worked on way too much to give y'all just half of it," he insisted. "I refused to cheat my fans. I refused to cheat myself," Wayne said.
No release has yet been set for the second half of the album.
