Lil Wayne steps on American flag

Rapper Lil Wayne was spotted trampling an American flag and proceeding to jump up and down on the national symbol while filming a new music video.
The 30-year-old artiste returned to his old 'stomping' grounds of Hollygrove, New Orleans to shoot the video for 'God Bless Amerika', a single from his album, reported the Huffington Post.
A leaked one-minute raw footage shows the four-time Grammy winner stepped on the flag and walked over it, with no one from the crew who were standing nearby bothering to pull the flag out from beneath him.
News of the footage prompted immediate criticism from both fans and foes, who called the rapper 'unpatriotic and disrespectful'.

Some have even extended their dismay from the flag-stomping to the cut-off shirt he was wearing in the footage, which read, 'Jesus saves, I spend', branding it offensive.
