The film, being directed by Christian Ditter, is based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo.
The story is in similar to hits like 'He's Just Not That Into You' and 'Valentine's Day'.
If things go ahead, Collins will reunite with Ditter after 'Love, Rosie' that also stars Sam Claflin and Christian Cooke, reported People magazine.
Collins last starred in 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Screen Gems'. She play Snow White in 'Mirror, Mirror' with Julia Roberts playing the role of wicked Queen.
