The creator and star made his final bow on July 9 to a thunderous standing ovation, but didn't say anything before he walked off stage to the theme from The West Wing, reported Digital Spy.
To mark the occasion, Miranda cut off his trademark hair and posted an image on his Twitter with a lyric from "Hamilton" song 'One Last Time': "Teach 'em how to say goodbye."
The performance also marked the final appearances for stars Leslie Odom Jr, who won a Tony Award for his turn as Aaron Burr, and Tony Award nominee Phillipa Soo, who played Eliza Schuyler.
The performance saw standing ovations throughout for Miranda's opening song, Odom Jr's 'The Room Where It Happens' and Christopher Jackson's 'One Last Time'.
Miranda will next be seen opposite Emily Blunt in Disney's "Mary Poppins" sequel, while he also wrote music for Disney's upcoming animation "Moana".
"Hamilton" will be coming to the UK in October 2017, premiering in London at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
