Linseed oil extend gains on sustained demand

Linseed oil prices extended its gains at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market due to sustained demand from paint and allied industries amid good export offtake.
While, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial declined further owing to reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil and refined palmolein ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible section, linseed oil rose by Rs 60 per 10 kg to Rs 1,340 from Monday's level of Rs 1,280.
However, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 3,285 from Rs 3,300 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 687 as compared to Rs 690 yesterday.

Moving to the edible segment, Groundnutoil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 1,200 per 10 kg and Rs 593 per 10 kg, respectively.
