Diamond Harbour and Digha in the coastal area near Bay of Bengal received the highest rainfall in the state at 17.8 mm and 17.2 mm.
Bankura, where the forecast was of heavy rainfall, received only 10.1 mm rainfall in 24 hours from yesterday morning, the MeT department said.
Kolkata received 9.4 mm rainfall, as the day's highest temperature was recorded at 31.7 degrees Celsius.
The weatherman has forecast generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain in the state for tomorrow.
