The 69-year-old actress has been seeking treatment for substance abuse and can't wait to get back to work, reported People magazine.
"Liza is doing very well in rehab and coming along fine. So eager to get out and go back to work, she is busy arranging her next projects," a source said.
Her spokesperson Scott Gorenstein said, "It's no secret she has dealt with this for years. And when she felt the need to seek help again, she did."
Minnelli last attended rehab in 2004 and has openly battled with addiction in the past. In the 1980s, she sought help for her alcohol and prescription drugs addiction following the tragic death of her mother Judy Garland, who passed away in 1969.
Court papers filed by David in 2002 claimed that abusive and alcohol-fuelled incidents took place during their marriage.
