According to police, the child was suspected to have been molested by two students of the high school section by luring her to the hostel room on October 30.
A few days after the incident, the child started showing signs of pain and uneasiness and told her parents of the torture she underwent. She was then taken to a hospital for medical examination and it was confirmed that she suffered sexual torture, police said.
The culprits are yet to be identified, police said.
Meanwhile, youth outfits of CPI(M) and BJP today conducted protest march to the school demanding action against the culprits.
