A press release issued by the MP's office informed that the team interacted with him at Hyderabad on Wednesday and discussed projects to be taken up.
He briefed the team about the Vijayawada Bamboo Mission to improve economic conditions of farmers in rural areas and requested the UK team to support marketing of bamboo produced by the farmers.
He also invited the team to visit Vijayawada for a field assessment of various development projects.
