Local TMC leader killed, 2 CPM men injured in clash

A local Trinamool Congress leader was killed and two Left supporters were injured today in a clash in Keshpur area of West Midnapore district.
Police said, TMC's Darkha village anchal president Seikh Firoze was declared dead at Midnapore General Hospital where he was referred after head injury.
The two injured CPI(M) supporters were also taken to the same hospital.
The clashes ensued altercation in the tea stall between two groups over election results and soon snowballed into TMC-CPIM clash.
A police picket has been posted in the area. Altogether 18 persons have been arrested.
