As per the agreement, the two companies will develop a new product range of BS VI compliant vehicles fitted with 200 cc CNG and petrol and 400 cc diesel and CNG Engines.
The gasoline engines will be produced by Greaves Cotton and will be compatible with Lohia Auto's three-wheeled vehicles, Lohia Auto said in a statement.
The new product line will add to the already existing diesel product portfolio of the company, it added.
"This step is a proactive attempt to upgrade our vehicles to meet BS VI emission norms well before the new norms kick in from 2020," Lohia Auto CEO Ayush Lohia said.
