The Corporate houses, industrialists and entrepreneurs should take it as their onerous responsibility to bring about economic growth and foster development of the society", Rosaiah said.
He was speaking after inaugurating CSR Conference and exhibition on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, organised by CII, here.
Stating that CSR activities by companies show how companies can contribute to positive impact on society, he said, "Companies should take responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, suppliers, employees, communities and other stake-holders".
