Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, while heaping praise on superstar Salman Khan-starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", says he likes watching films, which can improve relation between India and Pakistan.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is a cross-border drama, which centres around a man's (Salman's) journey to help a Pakistani mute girl to reach her native country.
"There are good films being made today in Bollywood like 'Oh My God', 'PK' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Salman Khan and Kabir Khan both have done a good job with the film. I like to see films that have good content, have a good message and are going to improve things (between India and Pakistan)," Khan told PTI.
The 69-year-old Padma Vibhushan recipient, who is considered one of the greats of Indian classical music, said he is open to giving score in Hindi films.
"There was a time, when everyone wanted to come to Mumbai. I am open to Bollywood music if anyone gives me a film. We have great regard for Bollywood but we wanted to dedicate our life to classical music," Khan said.
"We have a legacy and we want to continue in it. It has been a long journey. We feel connected to god while performing music. Swar is Ishwar."
Khan, who believes in leading a healthy life, does yoga and walk in his free time.
"I write columns, do little bit of reading in morning. I also do Yoga and walk as I love doing it," he said.
