Low cost HLL clinics to function from tomorrow

Bringing high quality healthcare at low costs, particularly to the poorer sections of society, public sector undertaking (PSU) HLL Lifecare will launch outpatient clinics here from tomorrow.
The clinics are being opened at Hindlabs Diagnostics Centre and Speciality Clinic, opposite Thiruvannthapuram Medical College, thus bringing super speciality OP services under one umbrella for the first time in the public sector in the state capital.
The clinics will operate in two shifts from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 8 PM, a press release said.
The super speciality venture has the top names in General Medicine, Diabetology, ENT, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Paediatrics and Orthopaedic clinics.

Former Medical College Principal and its Nephrology Department head Dr Ramdas Pisharody, former Gastroenterology Department head Dr Selvin, are among those who will be associated with the new Hindlabs centre.
Hindlabs' 24-hour laboratory services would be made available at 30-60 per cent lower rates than private labs, it said.
