Una remained hottest in the region with maximum temperature at 43.2 deg C against 44 deg C yesterday.

Sundernagar and Nahan recorded maximum temperature of 38.9 and 38.0 deg C while Bhunter, Dharamshala and Solan recorded a similar high of 35.5 deg C.

Kalpa and Keylong in tribal Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti recorded a high of 21.6 deg C and 20.8 deg C respectively but minimum temperatures dropped to 8.0 deg C and 6.2 deg C, close to normal.

The minimum temperatures remained between 25 and 26 deg C Celsius at Nahan, Dharamsala, Una and Mandi, two to four deg C above normal.

Shimla, Bhuntar and Manali were pleasant during night with a low of 18.2 deg C, 12.8 deg C and 9.0 deg C respectively.

The local MeT office has predicted rains and thundershowers in higher hills during two days and dry weather in the rest of the state.
