LT Foods Q2 profit up 9% at Rs 25 cr

LT Foods today reported 9 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 25.01 crore for the second quarter ended on September 30, 2016.
Its net profit stood at Rs 22.86 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Income from operations rose to Rs 844.45 crore during the second quarter of this fiscal from Rs 690.90 crore in the year-ago period.
The company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing, trading and marketing of rice.
