Nawazuddin will be working with Bachchan in his next film "Kerala" to be penned by Sujoy Ghosh and directed by Vibhu Puri.
"I have always had a dream of working with Mr Amitabh Bachchan. It is a coincidence that I am getting to work with such a big actor in my next film. I consider myself fortunate for having got this opportunity," Nawazuddin told reporters here at an event.
Reportedly, it was Big B, who asked Sujoy to write a film with him and Nawazuddin in the lead.
In the past, the "Gangs of Wasseypur" actor has worked with superstars of the industry, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in different films.
There have been reports that Nawazuddin will also be working with "Queen" director Vikas Bahl.
However, when asked about it, Nawazuddin dismissed it saying, "It is not true. I don't know where these reports come from.
