Magma Fincorp appoints Atul Bansal as new CFO

Non-banking finance company Magma Fincorp today said Atul Bansal will be company's new Chief Financial Officer.
"Magma Fincorp Ltd has informed BSE...On record the stepping down of V Lakshmi Narasimhan as the Chief Financial Officer of the company.
"Consequently Atul Bansal has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of the company with immediate effect," it said in a filing to BSE.
Bansal has about 30 years of corporate experience in investment, financial and business due diligence, corporate restructuring, M&A.
He earlier worked with Tata Group for almost 20 years as well as had a stint with an insurance major in the US.

Camson signs MoU with Coconut Development Board * Camson Bio Technologies (Camson) today said it has signed an agreement with the Coconut Development Board (CDB) to develop non-chemical, zero-residue biocides to control red palm weevil infesting coconut plantations.
"This partnership signals the acknowledgement by the government of the potential in Camson's strengths in secondary metabolite based technology to offer a zero residue solution for a perennial problem. It is an indication of the government's initiative to promote organic farming through technical capacity building of all stakeholders," Camson Chief Executive Officer Santosh Nair said in a release issued here.
Secondary metabolite based solutions are the most advanced technologies used to make farm inputs in the organic space and Camson is the only company in the country with the requisite research experience and execution skills.
Camson has been partnered under the board's scheme 'Technology Mission of Coconut' to conduct research over a period of two years.

Wipro ties up with Nexthink for enhanced compu-tech solutions * Global information technology services provider Wipro today said it has partnered with Nexthink to provide enhanced computing technology solution to enterprise users.
"Wipro, a global information technology, consulting and business process services company, has partnered with innovative end-user analytics firm Nexthink, to provide enhanced computing technology solutions and services to enterprise users," a release issued here stated.
With this new partnership, Wipro is turning big data inwards with a revolutionary real-time analytics technology to forever change the enterprise IT services market-turning the IT department from a cost centre into a true partner for the business, the company said.
