Two days after death of seven Naxals in an encounter with the police in the district, the rebels killed a man at village Manewara in Etapalli tehsil, police said today.
The incident took place last night under Kasansur Sub Police Station jurisdiction.
The victim was identified as Lalsu Dasru Kumoti (65).
Police said that a group of Naxals dragged him out of his house and shot him dead. He might have been killed because of his anti-Naxal stand, police said.
