CM Fadnavis and his ministers will go to Raigad at 9.30 AM tomorrow and seek blessings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a statement from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj made Raigad his capital in 1674 when he was crowned King of the Maratha Kingdom. A statue of the Maratha warrior and his samadhi are situated at this fort.
During the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections after a thumping victory in the Lok Sabha polls, BJP had launched the assembly campaign with a call 'Chhatrapati Shivaji ka ashirwad chalo chale Modi ke saath'.
