Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao Tuesday visited Mani Bhavan here and offered tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 149th birth anniversary.
Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Julio Rebeiro, Mani Bhavan president Dr Usha Thakkar, Honorary Secretary Yogesh Kamdar and Chairperson of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Raksha Mehta were present on the occasion, an official statement said.
The Governor was shown Gandhi's room at Mani Bhavan.
He also visited the library, museum and the permanent exhibition at Mani Bhavan.
Gandhi stayed at the Mani Bhavan between 1917 and 1934 during his occasional visits to the city.
