Maha guv expresses grief over loss of life in Mantralaya fire

The Governor also expressed confidence that the state government would resume normal business at the earliest.

"My heart goes out to the victims of the devastating fire that engulfed three stories in Mantralaya yesterday and their families. The damage caused by the fire is immeasurable but I have no doubt that the state government will resume its normal business at the earliest," Sankaranarayanan said.

He was speaking at a function where folic acid and iron tablets were distributed to marginalised pregnant women at Indian Merchants
