Maharashtra CM, BJP legislators visit RSS headquarters

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, his BJP cabinet colleagues and all the party legislators in the state today visited the headquarters of RSS at Reshimbagh here this morning.
They spent about half an hour there, sources said.
A meeting between top RSS leadership and a select BJP MLAs and ministers was reportedly scheduled before the start of the ongoing winter session of Maharashtra legislature here, but it was later called off.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi were not present at the Reshimbag office today; the visitors were received by local Sangh leaders.
It was only a courtesy call, BJP sources said.

Bhagwat had paid a visit to the Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at his official residence here yesterday.
