Maharashtra CM urges measures to implement MNREGA initiatives

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan today asked the village functionaries to take all measures for effective implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act in rural areas.
He was speaking at the meeting of village functionaries from Aurangabad and Jalna districts.
He said that the prime intention behind MNREGA was to generate employment nationwide and that there was no limit of MNREGA which would be provided as much as needed.
Speaking on the occasion, Maharashtra school education minister Rajendra Darda said that because of transparency in the scheme, corrupt practices would be curbed.
