Maharashtra Seamless Q3 net dips 26%

Pipe-maker Maharashtra Seamless today reported a 26 per cent dip in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31 at Rs 20.99 crore on lower income.
Thew company had clocked Rs 28.40 crore net profit in the October-December quarter of the last fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Total income of the company fell to Rs 267.78 crore from Rs 391.62 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
Expenses, however, also declined to Rs 261.98 crore from Rs 367 crore a year ago.
Shares of the company today settled at Rs 181.60 apiece, down 1.47 per cent over the previous closing in BSE.
