Scores of Shiv Sainiks, including a large number of women participated in the march taken out by the Thane City (District) unit, which was led by senior Sena leader and Maharashtra minister Eknath Shinde.
"Even if we are in the government, Shiv Sena is committed to the citizens' welfare. On account of the constant increase in prices of fuel and essential commodities, Sena is with the common man, hence this march has been taken out," Shinde told PTI.
