A woman allegedly committed suicide after killing her two children in Washim district of Maharashtra Thursday, police said.
Jayashree Gajanan Gaware (26) and her two sons, Ganesh (4) and Mohit (2) were found hanging from the ceiling at her father's house at Tondgaon village around 9 am, police said.
Jayashree was living with her parents as she was allegedly facing harassment from in-laws.
On Wednesday, she had reportedly made an attempt to resolve the dispute with her in-laws but did not get any response, police said.
The police registered a case of murder against Jayashree over the death of her two children, apart from a case of suicide.
Further probe is on, said inspector Yogita Bhardwaj of Washim rural police station.
