The new range of 250/320 kVA DGs are powered by Mahindra mPower series of engines, which have been designed at Mahindra Research Valley, its R&D hub in Chennai, the company said in a statement.
The mPOWER series engine range with capacity of 9.3 litre is equipped with advanced Common Rail Diesel Engine (CRDe) technology and is manufactured at the group's Chakan plant near Pune, it added.
While the 250kVA diesel generator is priced at Rs 12.5 lakh plus GST, the 320kVA diesel generator is tagged at Rs 16.0 lakh plus GST.
