A 19-year-old maid allegedly committed suicide at a a retired Colonel's house in south Delhi's Defence Colony today, police said.
She was found hanging in the basement of the residence this afternoon, they added.
Police said that she was working for a year. The former Colonel was at home with his wife and grandson when the incident took place, they said.
The post-mortem will be carried out tomorrow. No suicide note was found, police said.
