Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Lokesh Kumar Sharma asked the Superintendent of Tihar Jail, where Jagriti is lodged under judicial custody, to file a response on October 17 regarding non-compliance of its earlier order directing the authorities to file her medical records today.
The issue came up when the hearing on a plea filed by Jagriti seeking interim bail on health grounds commenced before the court.
The court had on October 9 directed the jail authorities to place before it all the medical records of Jagriti after it was informed that she was scheduled to be taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a check-up.
The police had chargesheeted Jagriti for various offences punishable under the IPC, including sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 344 (illegal confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 201 (destruction of evidence).
Both the accused were arrested on November 5 last year in connection with the death of their 35-year-old maid Rakhi Bhadra, a resident of West Bengal.
