Major cities witness pleasant weather in Bihar

Weather today remained pleasant in Bihar due to bright sunshine and the temperature, both maximum and minimum, hovered around the season's average.
As per the Met bulletin, the minimum temperature of Patna was recorded at 12.1 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 9 degrees Celsius. The capital's normal minimum temperature for today stood at 12 degree Celsius.
The city's maximum temperature, however, recorded 27.1 degree Celsius against yesterday's 27 degrees Celsius. The season's average temperature is 25 degree Celsius for Patna.
Purnea registered the highest maximum temperature of 28 degree Celsius followed by Bhagalpur and Gaya 27.7 and 26.4 degrees Celsius respectively, Met office said.

Purnea recorded minimum temperature of 10.4 degree Celsius followed by Gaya and Bhagalpur at 12.4 and 13.5 degree Celsius respectively, it said.
The state's lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius at Sabour in Bhagalpur district.
Met office has forecast mainly clear skies in major cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.
