Pursuant to stake sale, Apollo Hospitals plunged by 2.66 per cent to close at Rs 1,246.20 on NSE. Intra-day, the stock had touched a low of Rs 1,246.10 and a high of Rs 1,271.45.
According to bulk deal data available with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the fund has sold a total of 66,54,712 shares, amounting to 4.78 per cent stake, of Apollo Hospitals.
The shares were offloaded on an average price of Rs 1,246.32, valuing the transaction at Rs 829.38 crore, data showed.
At the end of March quarter, Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings held 66,54,712 shares, or 4.78 per cent stake, in Apollo Hospitals.
Earlier on March 3, the fund had offloaded a little over 6 per cent stake in Apollo Hospitals for about Rs 1,070 crore.
