West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was clinically better today and her vital parameters had stabilised, a medical bulletin issued from Belle Vue clinic said.
However, pain still persists inspite of medications and other supportive care, it said.
The medical team has advised her to take rest at least for two weeks either in the hospital or at home.
The 10-member team headed by Subroto Maitra, was attending on the chief minister since her admission Wednesday with complaints of breathing problem, palpitation and acute pain in shoulder, waist and knee joints shortly on her return from Delhi.
Doctors said that there was slight improvement in her blood pressure, but her pulse rate was low yesterday.
The chief Minister was obstructed from entering Yojna Bhavan building in New Delhi on April 9 by SFI activists during an agitation and her Finance Minister Amit Mitra was heckled.
Banerjee, who cancelled her meeting with the prime minister and later with the union finance minister, subsequently took ill and was administered oxygen while Mitra was put under observation at AIIMS.
