Mampi Das wins gold in 10m Air Rifle, Joydeep wins silver

Putting behind a recent controversy, Mampi Das of West Bengal today won gold to become the national champion in the women's 10m air rifle, at the ongoing 57th National Shooting Championship 2013 being held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, in New Delhi.
Bengal's Joydeep Karmakar representing Railways won silver in the 50m rifle prone men's event.
Mampi was recently involved in a controversy with fellow shooters at the North Kolkta Rifle Club in Belgachia, as she lodged an FIR alleging physical assualt.
