The incident occurred in Vasanthapuram locality of Kovur mandal this afternoon, resulting in the death of T Nageswara Rao and his son Nagaraju (20), besides injuring Rao's elder son Murali, Kovur circle inspector Ashokvardhan said.
The clash brokeout between close relatives due to suspicion of an "affair" between two members of the two families, the police inspector said, adding Rao and his sons were attacked with sharp weapons.
"A police picket has been set up and the situation is under control. A hunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused. A case under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code has been booked," the police officer said.
