The 23-year-old accused, who hails from Dasapalla in Nayagarh district, was arrested yesterday after an FIR was lodged by the girl's mother, said Gochhapada police station in-charge, Mrutunjay Pradhan.
The girl, who is aged about 14 years, has been rescued, the police said adding medical tests of both were conducted.
As per the complaint lodged by the girl's mother, her daughter was kidnapped on May 16 from her house and then raped repeatedly at different places in the Gochhapada area, the police officer said.
