Assistant sub-inspector Rekha Savaliya of Women police station said the alleged incident took place last night.
The accused was identified as Suresh Rathwa, native of Chhota Udepur district, Savaliya said.
Last night, Rahtwa followed the woman into hospital's restroom, and allegedly tried to rape her. Hearing her shouts for help, some other staff members came and caught Rahtwa, said the police officer.
Police have registered a case under Indian Penal Code's section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty).
