"The accused, Sidarath Mehrotra, was arrested on November 25 from Patparganj with some jewellery and his Chevrolet Cruze car was seized," Omvir Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), said.
"The latest X series of the iPhone, worth Rs 90,000 was also seized from his possession," he said.
Explaining Mehrotra's modus-operandi, the officer said, "The accused used to recce the area before committing the crime and he targeted locked houses. He used to ring door bells to confirm whether the house was empty."
