The driver of the vehicle, coming from Yamunanagar in Haryana, introduced himself as Deepak Kumar. He said he was the chairman of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).
Upon search, seven appointment letters, letterheads of various authorities, three fake marksheets were recovered from the car, the SSP said.
Deepak confessed that he used the car to dupe people by promising job and fake mark-sheets and collect money in the name of land allotment, Yadav said.
