Acting on a tip off the accused, Sabir, a resident of Usmanpur area of Northeast Delhi was arrested near Tikona Park of Bhajanpura area on July 9 and a country-made pistol and two live cartridges were also recovered from his possession, a police official said.
During the course of interrogation, Sabir revealed that he along with his associates Raj and Nazakat, who are absconding, were involved in various cases of robberies.
A manhunt has been launched to nab both Raj and Nazakat and they would be nabbed soon, he added.
