Man arrested for kidnap, murder of 8-year-old boy

Police today arrested a man for allegedly kidnapping and killing an eight-year-old boy to avenge his uncle who had borrowed Rs 15,000 from the accused.
The boy was kidnapped on March 11 when he was playing near his house in Boranada area of Jodhpur and murdered on the same day, police said.
The accused then dumped the body which was recovered yesterday in a decomposed state.
Police said the accused, identified as Kishan Meghwal alias Kishniya (23), had joined the boy's family in search for him to avoid suspicion.
Police Commissioner Ashok Rathore said the boy might have been sodomised before murder.
