Deepak was arrested last night from Tigri here. He had allegedly raped the girl on Tuesday, said Senior-SP KS Emmanuel.
The girl had alleged Deepak met her while she was going for tuitions and lured her to a secluded area and raped her.
The accused has been booked under Section 376 (rape) of IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He has been sent to jail, the SP said.
