Cyberabad police today arrested a medical practitioner for allegedly circulating a woman's morphed photos to thwart her engagement.
The victim's father had complained to the Cyber Crime Police that his daughter's morhped pictures had been sent to the mobile phone of her would-be husband from an unidentified number.
Text messages running down her character and advising not to marry her accompanied the pictures.
The probe led the police to Madala Ravi, a medical practitioner and resident of Film Nagar.
He had sent the morphed pictures of the girl from his wife's mobile phone, said Additional DCP (Crime) G Janaki Sharmila.
Ravi allegedly confessed that he had sent the photographs to break the woman's engagement.
