Man arrested for trying to molest French national

A 35-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly trying to molest a French woman after posing as a palmist in Man-Mandir area here, police said.
On June 9, Anshul Kumar met the 26-year-old French national and claimed that he was a palmist, said DP Shukla, Circle Officer of Dashashwamedh area.
Later, he invited the woman to his residence to predict her fortune and she agreed, said DP Shukla, Circle Officer of Dashashwamedh area.
There, he held her hand and tried to molest her, the police official said.
"On the complaint of the France national, an FIR has been registered at Dashashwamedh police station and the accused has been arrested," Shukla said.
