Man arrested in East Godavari for carrying gun

An NRI man was today arrested for possessing a gun, a pepper spray and bullets in violation of the election code, police in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh said.
M Suresh was stopped by police at Samarlkota when he was riding a two-wheeler to R B Patnam village.
They found that he was carrying a 40 mm gun, 20 bullets, and pepper spray, said Peddapuram Circle Inspector Nageswara Rao.
He had no license for the gun, Rao added.
