Man arrested with poppy husk in J&K

A person was arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle poppy husk in Katra, the base camp of Vaishno Devi Shrine, a police officer said.
The accused identified as Vakil Singh was arrested with 1.3 kg of poppy husk by Katra police from a check post at the Katra-Udhampur road, he said.
The accused has been booked under various sections of the NDPS act, he said.
