Man attempts to commit suicide outside SP office, serious

The father of a 15-year-old boy, who was shot dead, allegedly attempted suicide by drinking poison outside the district police chief's office here, accusing the police of failing to nab the perpetrators.
Sanjay, a resident of Nai village, was taken to a private hospital by villagers after the incident, police said.
The villagers said he drank poison after he was informed that the police had found contradiction in his complaint.
They said the doctor had stated his condition to be serious and put him under 48-hour observation.
Police said on February 10 night his son, Vishal, was shot dead.
The man has named eight people in his complaint, all residents Peda village here, they said.

Superintendent of Police P Ajay Sahani said the matter is being probed and the case will be solved.
