Dataram was attacked by his nephew Sunil, his brother Amit, sister Neeraj and father Surajpal in Badaria village last night, it said.
Police said that Dataram's daughter and wife were also injured in the attack.
The victim was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead, it said.
Police said that an FIR has been lodged and efforts were being made to arrest the accused.
