Last midnight, Kundan was roaming in the grave yard. He was beaten up by a mob who suspected him to be man-eater. He was later handed over to the police, City Superintendent of Police Rahul said.
During investigations, police did not found any weapon from Kundan's possession and also said that his clothes were not blood-stained. Police has come to the conclusion that the man is mentally-ill and hence roams around the graveyard at night, the SP said.
The case is being investigated, police said, adding that questioning will commence once the man's mental condition is normal.
